Grantee Highlight: Gloria Quintero

Traffic Safety Pulse News

GloriaGranteeHighlight.pngGloria Quintero is Summit County Public Health's Care Coordinator and Child Passenger Technician. Gloria is one of only two bilingual CPS Technicians in the NW region. She leads the Summit County Child Passenger Safety Initiative (SCCPSI) which offers both classes and one-on-one consultations. The initiative works with community agencies to educate parents, caretakers, parent educators, childcare providers, school staff, and healthcare providers (among others) to ensure child passengers are properly secured. This initiative will also train law enforcement agencies so they can identify improperly restrained children during routine traffic stops much like they do with adults in their ongoing Click It or Ticket campaign.
