CO 170 Critical Culverts, Boulder County
About the Project:
Work consists of replacing a culvert with wing walls underneath the roadway and excavating and patching asphalt along the highway.
Work will generally take place Monday through Friday, 7 a.m. to 7 p.m. at the intersection, with construction crews utilizing single lane closures and shoulder closures along CO 170 and Marshall Road. 24-hour single lane closures will be in effect utilizing traffic signals. Alternative routes along US 36 are advised.

Traffic Impacts:
- Traffic Delays Expected April 5 - 20-minute traffic delays are expected on April 5th from 9am to 2:30pm on CO 170 eastbound and westbound. This delay is necessary to ensure the traveling public’s safety while workers set concrete box culverts at the project site at milepost 3.2
- Impacts include single lane closures and shoulder closures along CO 170
- Temporary traffic control
- Weekend work may occur
