CO 151 Emergency Culvert North of Arboles

About the Project:

This emergency culvert replacement work is expected to begin at Colorado Highway 151 MP 28.15 beginning August 30, with work expected to be completed in late November.

Work will take place on CO 151 at MP 28.1, Monday through Friday, from 7 a.m. to 7 p.m. Crews will work to install two new concrete box culverts, restore the integrity of the roadway, and re-establish proper water drainage in the area. Construction crews will utilize shoulder closures, single lane closures, and temporary signals. This emergency repair work is critical for the traveling public by ensuring safe roadways and proper water drainage systems.

Traffic Impacts:

Beginning August 30, motorists will encounter road work south of the CO 151 and US 160 junction. Traffic impacts will include:

• Motorists will encounter single-lane closures and shoulder closures near MP 28 
• Motorists will be guided by temporary traffic light signals
